He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Byers and LaVera Byers (Stroble); his former wife Ruth Byers; William Maddox, Ralph Byers, Daniel Byers, Freida Maddox, Thelma Maddox and Carolyn Tomlinson.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Byers of Logansport; his children, Rick Byers (Tina) of Royal Center, Diana Zbikowski (Robert) of Portage and Donna Schueller (Ken) of Missouri; and his sister Barbara Nelson of Oregon. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
