It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Nethercutt of Logansport, Indiana, who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Nethercutt and Mabel Nethercutt (Hardy); his wives, Sandra Adcock Nethercutt and Lynn Nethercutt; his daughter Gidget Swafford; and his siblings, Ralph Nethercutt, Jr., Carol Heaton, Harold Osborn, Darolyn Osborn, George Osborn and Josephine Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Rumell (Brian) and Randy Nethercutt; his grandchildren, Dayton Rumell, Fallon Henderson, Wyatt Rumell, Trenton Nethercutt, Trevor Nethercutt, Cory Eller and Kendra Lightall; and his siblings, Truman Nethercutt, Tom Nethercutt and Evelyn Downs. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
