She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzel S. "Holly" Hollingsworth and Ida Hollingsworth (Lynas); her sister Patricia Cottrell; and her brothers-in-law, John Fewell and John Cottrell.
She is survived by: her son Doug; her daughter-in-law Karen Hanawalt of Indianapolis; her daughter Susan; her son-in-law Jason Peters of Kokomo; her grandchildren, Jake and Sara Hanawalt; her stepgrandchildren, Nathan, Luke, Elizabeth and Amelia Peters; her sisters, Joyce Timler of Pendleton, IN and Judith Price (Gary) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and her granddaughter Lauren Hanawalt. She is also survived by 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Logansport Chapel (1801 Chase Rd, Logansport, IN 46947). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
