He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Owen and Glenna G. Perdue (Altice); and his wife Hazel Jane Powell. He is survived by: his children, Tracey Layer (Shane) of Winamac, IN, Wendy Mongosa (Lonny) of Denver, IN, Jason R. Perdue of Logansport, IN and David Hawkins (Angela) of Knoxville, TN; and his sisters, Linda Mollencupp of North Manchester, IN and Glenda Flory (Jerry) of Tippecanoe, IN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gundrum Funeral Home (1603 E Broadway St, Logansport, IN 46947). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
