We announce the death of Stoney Ray Ellis (Logansport, Indiana), who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 61. Stoney will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jerome" Ellis and Ann Sullivan. He is survived by: his stepfather Russell Sullivan; his daughter Diana Marie Ellis; his sisters, Shawnnee Leinsz and Shannon Ellis; his friend Joshua Balough; his partner Deandra Shepard; his children, Ryan Shepard and Erica Ellis Sanders; his siblings, Rocky Ellis (Julie), Darron Ellis, Neeka Blankenship (Kevin) and Sherrie Ellis (Matt); his sister-in-law Alice Snider; and his close friend Heather. He is also survived by his grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Logansport Chapel (1801 Chase Rd, Logansport, IN 46947). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fisher Funeral Chapel (1801 Chase Rd, Logansport, IN 46947).
