He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Stroup and Glenice Stroup (Keck); his daughter Linda Stroup; and his brother Jerry Stroup. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Davidson; his children, Barbara Wells of Phoenix, AZ, Sharon Fry (Mike) of Muncie, IN, Phillip G. Stroup (Ann) of Williamston, SC and Kenneth L. Stroup (Lorrie) of Lewes, DE; his grandchildren, Lacie Garringer (Jordon) of Albany, IN, Vanessa Bohannon (Phil) of Milford, IN, Whitney Wells, Alexandra Stroup, Makenzie Stroup, Annastasia Stroup, Wesley Wells, Brandon Stroup (Diana) and Dustin Stroup; his sisters, Laurene Davis of Edwardsburg, MI, Esther Zapalski of North Liberty, IN, Jennie Krumrey (Pete) of Grand Rapids, MI and Edith Becker of Mishawaka, IN; and his sister-in-law Brenda Stroup of Versailles, KY.
