He was predeceased by: his parent Pearl Canady (Wright); his wife Daisy Mae; his parent Cecil Canady; and his sisters, Sally Harold (Emman) and Mary Merry (Bob).
He is survived by: his sons, Kelvin Eugene Canady (Patricia Canady) of Loogootee, Indiana and Clarence Ray Canady (Terri) of Columbus, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Cecil Canady (Grace), Ashley Alford (Clayton), Renee McGaha (Josh), Tyler Canady (Delilah), Kyle Risley (Mika Leiendecker) and Kayla Risley (Kyle Fittz). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
