He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Mattingly and Flora Mattingly (Greenwell); his former wife Nancy Mattingly (Colvin); his wife Theresa Mattingly (Wagoner); and his siblings, Lewis Mattingly, George Mattingly, Louise Neideffer, Elizabeth Goble, Laverne Williams, Jeanie Mattingly, Alice Walker, Larry Mattingly, Bobby Mattingly, Tom Mattingly and Ronnie Mattingly.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Mattingly (Kelly), Diana Beckman (Marty) and Kimberly Perry (Jim); his grandchildren, Jory Beckman, John, Mitch, Brett Mattingly and Elizabeth Jacobson (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Piper, Brooks and Faith Jacobson. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
