He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn Isaacs Venters; his wife Kay Venters; his children, Lisa Nixon (David) of State Road, NC, James Venters (Megan) of Loogootee, IN and Joshua Venters (Amy) of Loogootee, IN; his siblings, Brenda Thomason (Garry) of Mt Vernon, IL, Veda Berry (Tony) of Bridgepoint, IL, Betty Francis Betancourt of Washington, IN, Bill Venters (Janet) of Cisne, IL and Steve Venters (Dorothy) of Fairfield, IL; his grandchildren, Josh Jr. Luke, Hannah, Jacob, Kaelynn of Loogootee, Michael, Jordan and Mariah of State Road; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Avery, Gryffin Whiteaker and Lucca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
