She was predeceased by: her parents, Benton Burris and Lucy Burris (Carroll). She is survived by: her fiancé Matt Shoultz; her children, Chastin Burris, Phillip Overton and Lexis Overton; her grandchildren, Ezny Sluder and Havilynn Burris; and her siblings, Benny Lynn Cain (Craig), Jerry "Jeb" Burris (Dawn) and Bryan Burris (Tiffany). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with the purchase of a memorial urn.
