We announce the death of Jacqueline E. Mattingly of Loogootee, Indiana, who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 80. Jacqueline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E and Mary J Baker (Miller); her husband Gerald Patrick Mattingly Sr.; and her siblings, Patricia L Baker, Paul Baker, Vesta Fields, Robert Baker, Marilyn Campfield, Lowell Baker, Marion A Baker and Edward Baker.
She is survived by: her siblings, Martha Hilda Sparks, Doyle Baker (Becky) and Constance Hughes; her children, Mary Jo Gries (Dennis), Gerald Jr. Mattingly (Peggy), Angela Kaiser (Paul), Marlena Harvey (Brian), Deanna Hopper (Matthew), Anna Santos of Spain and Cristina López of Spain; her grandchildren, Ella Gries, Tonya Mathies (Jared), Nikki Gee (Jorge Caldera), Brett Mattingly (Caitlin), Gage Mattingly (Kayetlyn), Katelyn Drischel (Alexander), Courtney Theis (Jonathan) and Mallory Hopper; and her great grandchildren, Haylie Betz (Scott), Landon Mathies, Leo, Isaiah Caldera, Frances, Faye, Phoebe Mattingly, Tyson, Bristol Mattingly and Callum Drischel.
