Joseph S. Lengacher Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2026, at the age of 95, Joseph S. Lengacher of Loogootee, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lengacher and Emma Lengacher (Stoll); his former wife Doris Jean (Jean); his son Mike Lengacher; and his stepson Marvin Graber.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Delmer Graber (Jean), Terry Graber (Gwen), Sheldon Graber (Jenny), Nelda Lengacher (Dean) and Jolene McAtee (Van). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 19 ¾ great-grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren and 24 step great-grandchildren.
