It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia P. Wilz of Loogootee, Indiana, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Julia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Renneker and Patricia Renneker; her children, Shane Wilz and Jennifer Wilz; and her sister Ellen Renneker.
She is survived by: her son Bob Wilz (Mandy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (408 Church St, Loogootee, IN 47553). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
