We are sad to announce that, on May 25, 2026, at the age of 91, Mary Evelyn Vickers of Loogootee, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel C. Sims and Maria E. Sims (Burkhart); her husband Donald Vickers; her son Donald Vickers; her siblings, Donald Sims, Rex Sims, Norman Sims and Lucille Sims; and her son-in-law Steve Glinis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Glinis, Peggy Shea (Don) and Mary Jane Tarrh (Marty); and her brother Oren Leroy Sims (Betsy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Boggs Park.
