He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Arvin and Virginia Arvin (Madden); and his brothers, Jerome, Anthony, Daniel and David Arvin.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Anderson (Joann) of Shoals, Julie Wittmer (Todd) of Loogootee, Jennifer Lukens (Bruce) of Loogootee, Nathan Arvin (Nataly Osio) of Loogootee, Aaron Arvin (Jessica) of Washington and Nick Arvin of Ferdinand; his stepchildren, Holly Bowling (Shane) of Bedford and Emilee Arvin of Washington; and his sisters, Judy Pennington (Steve) of Bloomington, Nancy Dant (Larry Fellers) of Loogootee, Linda Nolan (Jim) of Loogootee and Marlene Bush (John) of Shelbyville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
