In loving memory of Sandra Elaine Simmons of Loogootee, Indiana, who departed this world on June 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Sandra Elaine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund "Ed" Russell Pendley and Laverne Wenzel (Potts); her husband John S. Simmons; and her brother Edmund Pendley. She is survived by: her children, Stephen "Steve" Simmons of Loogootee, Lori Moore of Loogootee and John "JD" Simmons of Loogootee; her grandchildren, Alli Squires, Ryan Simmons, Mandi Simmons, Jake Simmons and Monica Carnell; her great grandchildren, Leeland, Hunter Bays and Karri Prysock; and her sister Margaret "Margie" Eltzroth (Gary). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorial contributions be donated to Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in memory of Sandra and John Simmons.
