She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Martin and Marie A'Hearn Martin; her children, Joseph Neil Verthein, Gregory and Laura; and her siblings, Francis Martin (Janet), Helen Stillwell (Falby), Clair Martin (Rosie), Joseph and Thomas.

She is survived by : her former life partner John Verthein; her children, John, James (Nancy), Michael and Dawn Kierzek (Allen); her husband Roy Soderberg; and her siblings, Mary Mohwinkle (Dale), Shirley Murphy, Jerry Martin (Louise) and John Martin (Katy).
