He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Schoon and Vivian Schoon. He is survived by: his brothers, Kenneth and Ronald. He is also survived by four nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A masonic service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (8955 Columbia Ave, Munster, IN 46321).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the church or charity of choice.
