With solemn reverence, we commemorate Debra Ann Sewell of Lowell, Indiana, whose life came to an end on July 17, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hnatko and Estelle Hnatko; her brother-in-law Kenneth Dybel; and also Carly. She is survived by: her husband Newton "Newt" Sewell; her children, Kara Rak (Chris) and Derek Paraschos (Erika); the father of her children John Ralowski; her siblings, John Hnatko (Sharon) and Donna Dybel; her grandchildren, Raquel, Abigail, Diego, Kasiah, Derek Jr., Damien, Kailani and Charlie; her great grandchildren, Alena and Amelia; her stepsons, Joshua (Sonya), Jake and James Sewell; her father-in-law James VanGilder; and her brother-in-law Richard Snedden (Diane). She is also survived by 1 granddog; Scout, 4 nieces and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
