We are sad to announce that, on April 7, 2026, at the age of 84, James Cameron of Lowell, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; his parents, Arthur and Marie; his sister Eileen; and his daughter-in-law Karen Cameron.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Jo Norris (James), Tommy Cameron and James Cameron, Jr. (Ellen); and his former wife Judy. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
