He was predeceased by : his parents, Rose and Gerald; his son William; and his sisters, Marjorie Osburn, Geraldine Thompson and Barbara Rust Lewis.

He is survived by : his wife Anita; his sons, Don (Dorothy), David (Jill) and Jack (Cleo); his grandchildren, Emily, Jared, David Jr., Marley, Noah, Jacob, Jenna, Zander, Cindy, Llaremy and Lesley; and his stepgrandchildren, Jakki and Terrell. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
