He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerben Beenes and Renetta Beenes. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Beenes; his children, Debra DuBord (Richard) of Crown Point, Dawn Kamstra (Duane) of Beecher and Mark Beenes (Kim) of Fair Oaks; his grandchildren, Courtney Miller (Eric), Craig DuBord (Amanda), Stephanie Ruiter (Darren), Alysia Patrick (Dylan), Ashley Chapman (Riley), Kala Bolen (Joel), Brad Kamstra (Abby Cribari) and Brea Lukacek (Matt); and his sister Audrey Weser. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crown Point Christian Reformed Church (909 E Greenwood Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
