He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie; his daughter Sarah McIntosh; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his children, Steve (Caroline), Lisa Pullen (Mike), Dawn Miller, Jenny Devers (Dempsey), Monty (Kathy) of Zionsville, Lori Korte (Steve Doloszycki) of St. John and Stephanie Lowell; his son-in-law Phil McIntosh; and his siblings, Fred (Jane), Mike, Becky Riggs, Nancy Randall (Tom) and Beverly Knotts. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services (604 E Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (250 S Indiana Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A burial was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at the Orchard Grove Cemetery (IN-55, Lowell, IN 46356).
