He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his sons, David Horvat (Kim) of Highland, Tim Skertich of Crown Point and Tom Skertich (Bobbi) of Griffith; his grandchildren, Hannah and Will Horvat; his children, Tyler, Jacob, Kayla Skertich, Sarah Skertich and Alyssa Roberts; his great grandchildren, Gracelyn and Emilia; his sister Kathleen Mayden; and his sister-in-law Mary Horvat. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (216 S Nichols St, Lowell, IN 46356). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Edward Church or Alzheimers.
