He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanne Rowena Scharbau Bex and John E. Bex; and his brother John David Bex of Camp Hills, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Thorn Bex; his sons, Jay Douglas Bex, Charles Andrew Louis Bex and Kristopher Aaron Bex; his granddaughter Doris A Preston; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Thorn, Bruce Bridges Thorn and Preston. He is also survived by nieces & nephews, Friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the TBD Walker Funeral Home (248 E South St, Winchester, IN 47394). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the Fountain Park Cemetery (700 S Main St, Winchester, IN 47394).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lynn, Indiana Volunteer Fire Department, for being the "Knights in shining armor" that they are.
