He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar and Leota Lucille Buckmaster Engle; his wife Marilyn Ann Jones Engle; his daughter Lou Ann Owens; and his sisters, Eleanor Engle and Sharon Clevenger.
He is survived by: his son Joe; his daughter-in-law Sharon Engle; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Andrew Engle (Signe) and Katherine Dawson. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and nieces & nephews.
