We are sad to announce that, on February 27, 2026, at the age of 69, Daniel L. Evans of Lyons, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Daniel departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Daniel leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ruth Ellen Scott (Taylor); his siblings, Pam Wampler (Ron) and Delmar Evans, Jr. (Janene); his daughter Deidre Evans; his grandsons, Darren and Walter (Anette Cullison); his father Delmar L. Evans, Sr.; and his stepfather Robert Scott.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that any memorial donations in Daniel's name be given to Jenkins Funeral Home.
