She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Niceley and Lottie B. Niceley (Trogglon); her husband Shirley Jewell; her sons, Randy Jewell and Richard Dewayne Jewell (Angela); her grandsons, Keith Jewell and Justin Jewell; and her son-in-law Richard Hawkins.

She is survived by: her brother Bob Niceley (Anita) of Columbus; her children, Terry R. Jewell (Mary) of Hobbieville, Vicki S. Weakly (Scott) of Muncie, Robby R. Jewell (Deanna) of Ridgeport and Sandra L. Hawkins (Richard) of Lyons; and her daughter-in-law Angela Jewell of Lyons. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, sixty-eight great grandchildren and twenty-six great-great grandchildren.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Living Lights Ministry or Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
