He was predeceased by: his parents, John Phares Frantz and Audrey Alice Frantz (Sanders); his in-laws, Evelyn Virginia Rutledge (Schnarr) and Edgar Ray Rutledge; his sister-in-law Frances K. Frantz; his brothers, Kenneth John Frantz and Donald Ray Frantz; and his nephews, Jason Roger McCullough and Brian Keith Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Ann Frantz; his sons, Zachary Phares Frantz and Adam Joseph Frantz (Krista Deputy); his grandchildren, Kyah Renee Frantz, Zane Phares Frantz and Kade Lamar Frantz; his brother Ramond Allen Frantz; his nephews, Kenneth John Frantz (Steph) and Raymond Allen Frantz, Jr. (Jeanna Goebel); and his in-law Joyce Ann Wicks (Bobby Gene Wicks).
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mackey Salem United Methodist Church (9705 East 700 South, Mackey, IN 47654). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 1:45 PM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ron's memory to the Albright Cemetery Fund, honoring his deep connection to his roots, his community, and the land he so loved.
