He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ray Suggett, Sr. and Nora Ann Wilkinson Suggett; his wife Virginia "Missy" Talkington; his sister Nancy Lou Rice; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Rice and Lester Fike.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Elynn Schmidt (Bob) of Madison, Indiana and Robert Eugene "Rob" Suggett of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jacob Ray Schmidt (Jessica), Cody Tyler Schmidt (Casey), Sadie Katherine Schmidt Williams (Kenton), Grant Christian Suggett and Trey Evan Suggett; his great grandchildren, Madelyn Rae Schmidt, Anna Katherine Williams, Griffin Roger Williams and Ruth Anne Schmidt; and his sister Fredrica Lenore Fike of Missouri. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
