He was predeceased by : his parent Norma Jean Stiver Dahlem; his half-brother Donald Dahlem; and his grandparents, John Virgil Stiver and Anna Lynn Ryker Stiver. He is survived by : his wife Donna Sue Strasemeier Stiver of Madison, Indiana; his children, Charles Edward Stiver (Michelle Waganaar) of Lexington, Indiana and Anna Jean Richards (Zachary) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Shelbie, Caden, Larisa, Charlotte and Caroline; his great grandchild Uriah; his half-siblings, Sue Briggs (Dennis) of Bennington, Betty Dahlem of Madison, Indiana, John Dahlem of Madison and James Dahlem (Marianne) of Madison, Indiana; his nieces and nephews, Guthrie Briggs (Lisa) of Florida, Tanner Briggs (Tara) of North Vernon, Indiana, Wendy Merrick (David) of Knoxville and Jennifer Strasemeier of Manteno, Illinois; and his brother-in-law Roger Strasemeier (Janet) of South Chicago.
