He was predeceased by: his fathers, Raymond Bell and Benny Francis Martin Bell; and his sisters, Nancy Bell Kilgore and Betty Bell Stackhouse. He is survived by: his fiancée Debbie Elles of Madison, Indiana; his children, James David "Jamie" Bell of Madison, Indiana, Kristen Jean Bell (Jason Horine) of Trimble County and Olivia Arlynn Roark (Wesley) of Madison, Indiana; his stepson B. J. Elles of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Bailey Earls, Kennedy Earls (Michael Edens), Rylee Carlton, Aria Fitzgerald, Natalie Bell, Hudson Roark, Kingslee Roark, Tucker Roark, Magnolia Elles and Skyler Elles; and his great grandchildren, Myles Edens, Bennie Edens, Millie Edens and Delaney Hoskins. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews.
