He was predeceased by: his parents, Kessler Lee and Blanche Sarver (Meeks-Buchanan); his son Donnie Sarver; his great grandchild Angel Sarver; his grandson Michael Barron; and his brothers, Ralph Lee Meeks, George E. Buchanan, Lee Buchanan and James F. Buchanan.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Bennett of Madison; his children, Jeff Sarver (Kristina) of Madison, Kelly Esterman (Ron) of Madison and Kim Bruther (David) of Hanover, Indiana; his sister Ruth Ellen Sarver of Crestwood, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Nickie Cox (Dart), Dustin Sarver (Kayla), Natasha Richards (TJ), Jenny Webster (Andy), Brandon Sarver, Jessica Dickmeyer (Dustin), DJ Sarver (Teri), Kristan Sarver, Kendra Copeland (Clint), Emily Phillips, Amanda Moeller, Mike Bruther, Tonia Bruther, C. Michael Schatzman (Calista) and Constance Kerr (Mike); his great grandchildren, Breanna, Emma, Kaydi, Kayleigh, Karson, Austin, Ciaria, Caylee, Andrew, Gracie, Alila, Ty, Teegan, Eva, Sammy, Wyatt, Aydan, Isiah, Isabella, Dakota, Michael, Bradley, Paisley, Paige, Drake, Nova, Willow, Treyson, Eve, Araya and Ryan; and his great great grandchildren, Maddie, Rylan, Liam and Braley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel (117 Holt Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. A burial will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at the Fairmount Cemetery.
