He is survived by: his children, Hannah Rose McCarthy of Warwick and Eddy McCarthy of Warwick; his pet Bloop Bloop of Madison, Indiana; his son-in-law Cole Schuller of Warwick; and his siblings, Tom McCarthy of Richfield, Connecticut, Jack McCarthy (Nerea) of Arlington, Virginia, Kate Koch (Bob) of Myrtle Beach, Maureen Grillo of Annandale, Mary Martin (Danny) of Atlanta, Georgia, Eileen McCarthy of Washington, DC and Claire McCarthy of Arlington, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Going above and beyond during the uncertainty of the pandemic and feeding those who awaited online for the food bank, he will be remembered for his caring spirit which entailed loving all people and truly acting with a servant's heart.
