He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Phillips and Gertrude "Fannie" Arnett Phillips; his siblings, Patricia Rudolph and Darrell Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Carl Lee and Helen Lee Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Bette Elaine Lee Phillips of Madison, Indiana; his daughters, Peggy Dunn of Brooksburg, Melissa Phillips of Madison, Terri Roark (Stacey) of Dupont and Amanda Thornton of Milton, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Bobbie, Charlie, Sammie Joe, Christina Renee, Ethan, Shelby, Andrew, Houston, Dalton, David Lee, Victoria Lynn, Gracie Mae, Sarah Rose and Matthew; his sister Marsha Johnson (Jackie) of Commiskey, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Phillips of Hanover, Ethel Branham (Donnie) of Brooksburg, Indiana and Allen Lee (Debbie) of North Carolina. He is also survived by 34 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
