He is survived by: his wife Shari Lynn Wehner Stites of Madison, Indiana; his daughters, Missy Keeley of Greenwood, Indiana, Jackie Kramer (Danny) of Panama City, Florida and Charley Foley (Ben) of Madison, Indiana; his stepsons, Matthew David Schafer (Nicki) of Chandler, Oklahoma and Adam Schafer (Amanda) of Greenwood, Indiana; his grandchildren, Bryan, Madelyn, Tyler, Austin, Meaghan, Emma, Ellie, Riley, Dilynn, Jhett and Paige; his great grandchildren, Theo Keeley and Hattie Keeley; his sisters, Barbara Burnette (Mike) of Madison, Indiana and Kathy Holder of Madison, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Brooks of Madison, Indiana, Ron Wehner (Linda) of Madison, Indiana, Mike Wehner (Linda) of Madison, Indiana, Karleen Hubbard (Mark) of Columbus, Indiana and Stephanie Kuerzi (Scott) of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the American Legion (707 Jefferson St, Madison, IN 47250).
