She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Mae Fowler Howell and James Alton Howell, Sr.; her husband Raymond Perkinson; her son Charles Winslow Dixon, Jr.; and her siblings, James Alton Howell, Jr., Robert Howell, Betty Houston and Edna Collins.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Lowry (Don) of Millington, Anna Lee of Hoboken, Georgia and Vickie Davis of Chillicothe, Ohio. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
