He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Marshall and Bertha Graper Marshall; his wife Mary A. Donohue Marshall; and his siblings, Harold Marshall, Paul Marshall, Les Marshall, Lloyd Marshall, Wayne Marshall, Rodney Marshall, Vincent Marshall, Vera Coleman, Ruby Holwager, Edna Lockridge, Florence Dolby, Leila Cassidy and Mamie Craddock.
He is survived by: his sons, Clarence W. Marshall (Diana) of Lexington, Donald R. Marshall (Barbara) of Lexington and Larry G. Marshall (Kathleen) of Lexington, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Marshall (Teresa), Travis Gayle Marshall (Mandi), Lynette Marie Anderson (Jon), Donald Ray Marshall (Christy), Angela Elaine Sloan (Zac), John William Marshall (Tom Harlow), Kevin Ray Marshall (Karen) and Jeremy Michael Marshall (Courtney); and his stepgrandchildren, Melissa Waelbroeck, Alisha Murphy (Jason) and Ryan Earl (Kristen). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 6-step great grandchildren; 3-great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
