She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Sandlin and Virginia Mae McQuiston Sandlin; and her aunts and uncles, Barbara Foy, Betty Ross, Carl Sandlin, A. C. Sandlin and John Paul Sandlin.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Wayne Black, Jr. (Renee) of Madison, Michael Brian Black (Donna) of Madison, Brandy Louise Black of Madison and Laura Scroggins (Tom) of Hanover, Indiana; her grandchildren, Cora Riley, Aurora Belle of Kennedy Deighton, J. J. and JesseLynn; her stepgrandson Bryce; and her former husband Richard W. Black, Sr. of Madison, Indiana..
