He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Rumsey and Lillian C. Simpson Rumsey; his son-in-law John Rumsey; and his niece Cathy Rumsey. He is survived by: his wife Opal M. Vinup Rumsey of Madison; his children, Debi Rumsey of Lafayette, Sharon Rumsey of Wellington and Michael Rumsey of Madison; his grandchildren, Evan Rumsey and Bonnie Rumsey Cunningham (Corey); his great grandchildren, Madison Cunningham and Colby Cunningham; and his siblings, Ronald Rumsey (Charlotte) of Dillsboro, Larry Rumsey (Loraine) of Aurora, Wayne Rumsey (Linda) of Madison and Janice Patterson (Mike) of Lawrenceburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
