She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Lee Griffin and Kathelene Patterson Griffin Amburgey; her stepfather Bob Amburgey; her brothers, Clifford Griffin, Allen "Bullwhip" Griffin, George Griffin and Joey Griffin; her nephew Jason Lee Lyons; and her niece Terri Griffin.

She is survived by: her children, Robert T. Griffin of Madison, Indiana and Mary Ruth Withers of New Washington, Indiana; her grandchildren, Shelby Griffin, Clayton Griffin and Marcus Griffin; her great grandchild Lydia Kathelene Griffin; her sister Karen Dale Griffin (Luke Lucas) of Madison, Indiana; her stepbrothers, Richard Wilking (Kathy) of Madison, Roger Young (Sandy) of Madison and Robert Allen Ford (Priscilla) of La Center, Washington; and her sisters-in-law, CeCe Griffin of Columbus and Karen Jester of Madison, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
