Shepherd and Ruby Thorpe Shepherd; her brothers, Jerry Shepherd and Pete Shepherd; her siblings-in-law, Jean Shepherd, Marjorie Moore, Anita Jean "Jeanie" Strope, Beverly Kay Lee, Anna Sedam, Sam Fugate, Jack Herring, Robert Sedam, Harvey A. Sedam, James Moore and Von Strope; and her parents-in-law, Ernest and Ruby Sedam.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tonya Sedam McCord (Roger) of Madison, Indiana and Shelli Sedam Williams (Shane) of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren, Justin McCord, Emily Nelson, Lindsey Jackson, Matthew Williams and Casey Williams; her great grandchild Ava Overfield; her grandchildren, Dani McCord, Mia, Alice Nelson, Callie, Kyler and Colson Jackson; her sisters, Shirley Herring of Columbus, Indiana, Iris McClure of Louisville and Joyce Giltner of Madison, Indiana; her sister-in-law Betty Lou Shepherd of Vernon, Indiana; her cousin Brenda Seversen of Hamilton, Ohio; and her siblings-in-law, Bernard Sedam (Virginia) of North Vernon, Indiana, Joe Lee of Butlerville, Indiana and Phyllis Sedam of North Vernon, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at the Mom's House. Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Center (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250).
