He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Roger Petersen and Miriam Petersen; his father-in-law Lloyd Stephenson; and his brother-in-law Robert Stephenson (Shauna). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his sons, Chris and Aaron; his siblings, Nancy Sollman (Steve), Donna Wright (Kevin) and Greg Petersen (Mary); and his brother-in-law Terry Stephenson (Gayla). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hanover United Methodist Church (220 E Lagrange Rd, Hanover, IN 47243).
Memorial contributions may be made in Mark's memory to the Hanover United Methodist Church Food Pantry or the Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation.
