She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Hampton and Geraldine Virginia Lewis Hampton; her sister Sharon Ann McGinnis; and her brother-in-law Lenville Troy "Mac" McGinnis. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Ray May of Lexington, Indiana; her daughters, Laura Cleek of Lexington, Jennifer Shepherd Hutton of Manhattan and Angela Duffy (Tim) of Cincinnati, Ohio; her grandchildren, Trevor Robbins, Cindy Johnson, Cori Canavan and Charles Oatten; her great grandchild Nova Ray Robbins; her mother-in-law Millie Russom of Palacios, Texas; her siblings, Sandra Phillips (Claude) of Hanover, Ruby Kasper (Charlie) of Ocala, Vivian Shields (Roger) of Charlestown, Indiana and Rob May; her sisters-in-law, Laura Murphy (Bill) of Houston and Deana Mabe (Robert) of Victoria, Texas; Sherri of Brownstown, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
