It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paula Sue Gerth McAlister of Madison, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Herman and Gladys Wolf; and her mother-in-law Barbara J. Singer McAlister. She is survived by: her father Mark Gerth; her husband Donald William "Donnie" McAlister (Donnie) of Madison, Indiana; her children, Brandon McAlister (Samantha Snyder) of Madison, Indiana and Brianna McAlister (Joe West) of Madison, Indiana; her mother Sherry Smith Gerth (Smith) of Madison, Indiana; her grandsons, Finley, Beau and Jameson; her brother Shad Gerth (Kelsie) of Madison, Indiana; her father-in-law Don "Junie" McAlister (Margie Macon) of Madison, Indiana; her brothers-in-law, Chad W. McAlister and Jason M. McAlister of Madison, Indiana; and her nieces and nephews, Tanner, Maddie and Autumn. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:45 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Paula S. McAlister Nursing Scholarship Fund.
