He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richard Gardner and Nora Jean Henry Gardner; his sister June Marie Shanks; and his nephew Jesse Paul Gardner. He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Catherine Haase (Dillon Dryden) of Kent and Cheyanne Autumn Gardner of Madison, Indiana; his granddaughters, Alexis Ledbetter of Madison, Summer Gardner of Madison and Emmalina Haase of Madison, Indiana; and his siblings, Delores Redding of North Vernon, Cindy Rae Hughes (Chuck) of Madison, Indiana and Denny Richard Gardner (Tonya) of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and his nephews.
