He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Marie Behr Hoskins and Allen Keith Hoskins; his daughters, Kerry Ann Hoskins and Anna Katherine Hoskins; and his brother Robert Keith Hoskins.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Marie Smith Hoskins of Madison, Indiana; his children, Sayra Hoskins (Jeff Liston) of Madison, Indiana and John D. Hoskins of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Tyler Hoskins, Derek Hoskins, Mylee McQueary, Easton McQueary, Beau Hoskins, Kyle McQueary (Sarah), Kaitlin McQueary, Traevin Liston and Myles Liston; his great grandchildren, Nora McQueary and Cole McQueary; his sister Angela Kay Kring of Madison, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Shuck (Mike) of Normal, Illinois, Corliss Boldery (Shelby) of Madison, Indiana, Marilyn Scully (Ray) of Deputy, Indiana and Dennis Wayne Smith (Margie) of Hanover, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First Baptist Church of Bayless Cemetery.
