We are sad to announce that, on December 1, 2021, at the age of 75, Rose Ellen Quire Pate of Madison, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Etta Ellen Deaton Quire and Lewis Maurice Quire; her sisters, Patricia "Patsy" Carol Frazier, Louise Kelley and Nancy Moore; and her grandchildren, Devon and Jennah Colwell.

She is survived by: her husband Van Craig Pate of Madison, Indiana; her children, Joseph "Joey" Douglas Bell (Tonia) of Eminence, Kentucky, Paula Jeanne Colwell (Larry) of West Dundee, Illinois, Jason Pate (Michele) of Madison and Darrin Keith Pate (Diane) of Casterville, Texas; her siblings, Lewis David Quire (Carolyn) of Pleasureville, Kentucky, Wanda True of Eminence and Frances Marie Osborne of Dayton, Ohio; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Keith Pate (Jeanne) of Hanover, Indiana and Catherine Hall (Jack) of Sellersburg. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hanover Baptist Church or the Eminence Baptist Church.
