The memory of Roy Winternheimer of Madison, Indiana, who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Winternheimer and Florence Winternheimer (Oberbeck); his wife Shirley Deken Winternheimer (Deken) of Madison; and his siblings, Carol Winternheimer, Lola Gerhardt, Wayne Winternheimer and Burt Hatfield.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Winternheimer (Angela) of Sellersburg, Indiana and Cheryl Roberts (David) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jesse Roberts (Danielle), Tregan Roberts (Allison), Hana Ebeling (Luke), Julian Winternheimer (Helen), Grace Winternheimer, Sarah Winternheimer and Henry Winternheimer; his great grandchildren, Silas, Dawson, Hadley, Wyatt, Emmett and Atlas; and his sister Nancy Heim (Irvin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St Marys Rd, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
