She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis W. Block and Jean C. Neal Block; her husband Robert Eugene Monroe of Bob's Garage; her brothers, Denny Ray Block and Louis "Tink" Block, Jr.; her son Dean Alan Monroe; and her niece Amy Neely.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, McKenzie, Nathan, Destiny, Robert Alan, Jackson and Junior; her siblings, Linda Asher (Robert) of Madison, Indiana and Rick Block (Kim) of Madison, Indiana; her sister-in-law Regina "Cookie" Block of Madison, Indiana; and her siblings' children, Katie Jackson, Molly McCulley, Kelly Combs, Jennifer Durand, Greg Goins, Darlene King, Cristy James, Buddy Asher and Melinda Downey. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the North Madison Christian Church or the American Cancer Association.
